FAQ
Use this text to share information about your product or shipping policies.
How will it cope with water?
The materials used can stand up to the weather including rain and the metal buckle is sealed to avoid rusting from downpours. However, the products should not be submerged in water.
Is it suitable for a puppy
You can use a collar on puppies at 8 weeks, or a harness if that is more appropriate to the breed (flat faced breeds). The breeder is best to advise as they know their specific breed best, although the small collar is only 50g and fairly light. Measure following our guide in the specific product description. Do not forget to allow two fingers under the collar for comfort and correct sizing.
How can I clean the collar?
You can use baby wipes or a clean wet cloth to gently wipe the leather. This will remove most stains and applying leather protection cream will support the leather after cleaning.
Do you offer name tags?
Not at the moment, although you can personalise your product for free.
What are the product sizes?
You can find the size guide in the product description. Both harnesses and collars are adjustable. The leash is not adjustable but does come in three sizes.
Why is the embossing fading?
The use of soft and comfortable Italian leather results in fading of the embossing when worn over time. Embossing also varies slightly due to the natural qualities of leather. For a permanent solution we can alternatively emboss their name on a tag.
How do I measure my dog's neck?
First check our size guide in the product description.
Feel free to drop us an email if you are not sure about the sizes, we will get back to you as soon as possible. Measure around the neck of your dog where the collar naturally sits. Focus on a snug but not tight fit allowing for two fingers under the collar. This is the length needed; Choose the larger size if in between. If the neck measurement is 42 cm even though this does fit both medium and large sizes, please choose the large collar for more adjustable space for your dog, giving the most comfortable fit.
Are these dog products chew proof
No, they are a natural material and not toys. Please keep dogs from chewing the leather.
Will the collar be sturdy enough?
Each collar is made from high quality leather and substantial accessories which will handle pulling from the dog. In cases where dogs pull, a harness is often the best solution for the safety and comfort of your dog.
Where to hang a dog tag?
For heavier metal tags, hang them on the slider, rather than the d-ring. This avoids scratching and tarnishing, as constant banging against the buckle may cause it to break. The life of this product can be maintained by correct placement of the tag.
My dog is allergic, would you recommend these products?
Leather is a natural material which is one of the best option for dogs with allergies. However we have disclosed the composition of our metal hardware below for you to check if the dog is allergic to any of the metals before purchasing.
