The iPhone 18 Whispers: Rumours, Leaks and How RYAN London Is Engineering the Future

As June draws to a close, attention is already turning to September. The iPhone 17 is still a superb phone, yet leaks and schematics for the iPhone 18 series are everywhere.

We don’t just watch the horizon. For us, early reports are the starting point for our next collection of full grain leather cases.

Here are the most talked about iPhone 18 rumours, and how we are adapting our process.

The Leaks: What to Expect From the iPhone 18 Series

According to supply chain reports, Apple is focusing on AI, battery life and photography.

• A smaller Dynamic Island. Several reports suggest Face ID components moving under the display on the Pro and Pro Max, shrinking the cutout by 35 to 50 percent.
• Dark cherry. The headline Pro colour is rumoured to be a deep wine tone, replacing the previous orange. A shade that practically asks for fine leather. (It arrived as Burgundy. Here is how it pairs with our leather.)
• Bigger batteries. Leaks point to a cell of around 5,200mAh in the Pro Max and a 2nm A20 Pro chip, with a slightly thicker body.
• Variable aperture. The main 48MP camera is tipped to gain a mechanical variable aperture, which could mean a larger camera plateau.

Why We Start Early

A luxury leather case cannot be rushed or stamped out on the day a phone launches. It takes time, calculation and attention to fractions of a millimetre.

With thicker Pro bodies, a more prominent camera and an updated MagSafe array all rumoured, our design team is already studying early renders and schematics. When a phone changes thickness or shifts its buttons, the tension of the leather changes with it. We prototype early so the fit is right from the first day.

Our iPhone 18 collection will adapt to these changes while keeping our minimal profile, with a raised lip around the larger camera plateau.
