Looking Ahead: Is the iPhone 18 Worth the Upgrade?

Summer is in full swing, which in the tech world means one thing: the rumour mill is running at full speed ahead of Apple’s September keynote.

The question we hear most from our community: should I keep my current phone, or is the iPhone 18 worth the upgrade?

Based on the reports so far, it is shaping up to be a significant release. Here is what to expect, and a first look at how we are preparing to dress it.

iPhone 18: What the Rumours Say

Apple is expected to push the design and capability of the 18 series further. Until the official announcement, these are the features drawing the most attention:

• A slimmer design. Reports of a new slim model suggest Apple is rethinking the form factor without giving up battery life.
• Under display technology. Persistent rumours of Face ID moving beneath the screen could mean more uninterrupted display.
• Better zoom. Building on the 48MP cameras of the iPhone 17, the Pro models are tipped to get improved telephoto lenses.
• The A20 chip. Faster, more efficient and tuned for on device AI.

While Apple Perfects the Chip, We Perfect the Leather

You don’t put a fine painting in a cheap frame.

For us, a new iPhone means months of research, design and prototyping. We are already preparing our collection for the iPhone 18 lineup.

As always, we use vegetable tanned full grain leather. Our design team is refining the fit for the new dimensions, whatever Apple does with the buttons, bezels or camera. The result will carry our hallmark minimal look, a precise fit and leather that develops a rich patina over time.

A Surprise in the Works

This year, we are not stopping at cases.

The way you carry your tech keeps changing, and we have been quietly developing new accessories for the iPhone 18 launch. We won’t say more yet. They are designed to be natural companions to your new iPhone.
